cursor / pointer

Hi,

I'm running Enterprise WS version 3 on about a dozen machines, I also run a program called AFNI which is located on a central raidzone which is exported to all 12 machines. My problem is with the pointer. On 10 of the 12 machines when I start up AFNI and move my pointer over an AFNI window it remains a pointer. However, on two of the machines the pointer changes to an X. I can't see any reason for this as all of the machines recently had Enterprise installed on them, and it was a clean install in all instances. Is there some way to customize what your mouse looks like depending on where it is on the screen? If so, what files do I need to modify? Thanks so much.

I don't know if this will help people in general but for this specific problem, apparently setting the environment variable AFNI_DISABLE_CURSORS to YES will solve the problem. Hope this helps someone out.
