Question After installing RHEL 5, not getting the booting screen.

i have Installed Red Hat Linux Enterprise edition 5 in my Intel dual core system with 512MB DDR and 80GB SATA HDD while installing there was no problem.I have additionally select only KDE desk top.thats it. after completing the installation, rebooted the system but no boot screen (GUI)is coming instead in my monitor(Wipro WC150N)all control lights are blinking. so help me to short out this problem as soon. I have re installed the OS morethan three times and also I have changed the monitors but the problem is still there.

1. check your monitor's manual to find out what this means.
2. try booting to text-mode only.

It sounds to me like there are incorrect video settings in /etc/X11/xorg.conf ... check this file to make sure the correct refresh etc is entered for your monitor.

You should also report this to RHN - use the support you have paid for. (Conversly, if you prefer free support, it is logical to use a free distribution - in the FOSS world, the non-enterprise releases are the most recent ones with the most up-to-date features, including drivers. I understand fedora 10 is the latest, if you like RH stuff.)

i have nvidia graphic card and xen simply refuses to open gui and the light of monitor goes orange which means its off or in standby i asked this question in xen forums and saw it in nvidia forums too that xen was not supported with nvidia, there were some issues at that time ( 8 to 10 months ago ).
