Stereo screen splitter

Hey, i have a SBC which runs a debian based linux version, and i have connected a small HD display to it.
I want to use it as a HMD, Is there any way i can convert my normal screen into stereo screen where i can use it as occulus rift.

Please elaborate a little on your setup. What SBC are you using, and what connection does it have to the display? Most of the SBCs I've played with have HDMI output, and that can be split easily with an external splitter.

I am using Udoo Quad and a 5.5 inch hdmi display. I want to develop an HMD like occulus. Any leads on how to proceed. I am a total NooB..
