Change the DOS bundled with Finnix

I use a bootable USB stick for a few basic tasks (issuing secure-erase, admin software for my SAS card etc). Finnix is great because it has 32bit and 64bit Linux, and Balder DOS which is apparently based on FreeDOS.

My problem is that the software for my SAS card runs on DOS but requires DOS4GW.exe, which isn't included in Balder DOS.

Please could someone tell me where in the Finnix directory I place DOS4GW.exe or how I can upgrade the Balder DOS to one that includes DOS4GW.exe

Thank you!

Dos4gw.exe should go in your mountable DOS directory loaded by the DOS system. You can probably add the command to load it from the autoexec.bat in the top level directory of the DOS system so it is loaded automatically at boot.

Few actual DOS distros have ever included DOS4GW.EXE by default.
