Blank Screen When Kernel Starts with Gentoo LiveCD 2005.0
Hello,
I was trying to boot from the ppc minimal install disk, but when I thy to start the kernel, the screen goes black and nothing happens (even after extended periods of time). Anybody know what the problem is? I have a G4 iMac. Thanks.
Distribution: Mac OS X / SuSE 9.3 / NetBSD 2.0 (under XEN) / Windows XP (under Win4Lin)

Rep:
your framebuffer is most likely not supported by the default (generic) kernel supplied by gentoo in the cdrom..
