What files to copy to have email/adresses/bookmarks when changing distros

Hi All,

tried PCLOS for a few weeks but found it more and more buggy as time went and have decided to go back to Ubuntu for the time being. What I need to know is what files I can copy to get my emails, email adresses and hopefully my bookmarks back in Thunderbird and Firefox repsectively.

I will need to knw specifically where to look as I have never done this before, I am hoping to just copy them to a thumb drive and paste them in the appropriate spot- which I will need to know also please.

Thanks in advance!!

For the bookmarks and email addresses you can use the export function in firefox and thunderbird, as for copying the actual emails try looking in your .thunderbird folder hidden in your home folder.
