star trek OS

finished watching the first season of star trek, seen the odd episode when I was a kid, thought Id watch the lot.

hate bones though. is it a coincidence that bones is a doctor, and all doctors suck? I dont think so.

I would have liked to see something like this:

bones - "your logic, mr spock, is not applicable here. we are human, waffle waffle"

mr spock - "ah shut up bones, your just a doctor."

Bet you wouldn't say that if you needed a doctor to save your life or that of someone you love, would you? Generalizations like that is how trouble gets started. That's like saying everyone who works for Ford are sorry malcontents, when many are people like you and me.

As far as characters go, Bones is one of several in the ensemble. People tend to like one over the others or combinations. Quite a few medical people got their inspirations from this character.

So what about the "star trek OS" in the title?

bloodsugar, when you modify your messages in such quick succession you destroy the context of people's responses.
Should have screen-capped message #4 before you deleted it, it was priceless!

my response was almost exactly the same, so I dont know what your trying to say. post whatever it is that was 'priceless'.

post it. context? post it. let the mods post exactly what my messages were.
