what happened to tux racer and chromium

Is their a command that can be enterd at a shell prompt that would allow me to play tux racer and chromium. I dont even have them listed on the games panel. I insalled my fedora core one just the same as I installed the rh9 I was using before it ( I installed all packages) so how come their not there.

I could be wrong (it wouldn't be the first time), but I think Tux Racer can be launched by typing "tuxracer" at the command prompt. Chromium, I believe, can be run by typing "chromium" in a similar command prompt. Of course, you'd have to make sure your PATH is correct, or you're specifying the directory where the executable is.

If you are using either Gnome or KDE you can press the key combination Alt-F2 to get a prompt that will run commands as if you typed them in at a shell prompt. Type in tuxracer there. If it doesn't work then they are not installed. If they are not installed you could use the yum utility at a shell prompt as root to install them if you have an internet connection. If you still have the install cds, you can use the redhat-config-packages command to run the package installer. You then would click on the details button next to the Games section and select tuxracer and/or chromium and the installer will prompt you for the correct install cd.

Reinstall the games package but when youre at the package select screen click on 'Details' for the games package and make sure that Tux Racer and Chromium have a check mark next to them.
