Red face Can get my Wifi to work on Elementary OS

Hi all

Im having trouble enabling my wifi on elementary.

Ive tried connecting my phone as a usb tether and updating drivers
(sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade), but didnt seem to work

Any help would be appreciated.

PS my laptop doesnt have an ethernet port unfortunately.

Hi & Welcome to LQ.

I'll start by being honest that I am not good with wifi.

However there are a few things that you can do to get things moving.

Post the output of lspci so members can find out information about your laptop and what nic card you have.
Once you know what card you have you can look for a driver.
