Part of the criticism of SystemD is that it's Linux only and can not be ported to, for example, FreeBSD. Well, that's the solution. If you really don't like SystemD and never want to use it, then format that Debian partition and install FreeBSD on it.
FreeBSD is actually not that different from Debian. You can easily install pre-built binary packages with a tool that resolves dependencies for you. Try it. It's an excellent operating system.
As for the Unix philosophy and the opinion of Linus Torvalds, Linux != Unix. BSD is closer to Unix. Incidentally, the meaning of the acronym "GNU" (as in the GNU coreutils used in Debian GNU/Linux) is "GNU's Not Unix".
It may be worth keeping Debian if the future of Linux is SystemD. If you are a sysadmin, then there will certainly be a gap in your education if you don't learn how to use SystemD.
Distribution: Anything NOT SystemD (ie. M$) related.

Yea, maybe they'll take your advice.
Or maybe they enjoy the pro-government and M$, systemD supporters here, doing what they do best.. which is attack the messenger, because they have no other case to stand on.
I'll *prove* my side, when your done *disproving* it.
Pro-systemd crowd, Mossad, cancer... this thread has deteriorated too fast, indeed without us watching too closely (or any of you caring to alert), and without recovery. Closed. Next time behave.
