I am happy to announce that LinuxQuestions.org has released a new site. LQ ISO will allow you to find a fast download mirror for your favorite Linux distribution. The site will allow you to rate the download speeds of the mirrors you have used, will allow you to signup for notification that a new version of your favorite distribution has been released, and is integrated with the LQ reviews and distro forums. Visit http://lqiso.org/ to start downloading or http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=217207 to give feedback.
Another distribution has joined LinuxQuestions.org. Please welcome DNALinux. I'd like to thank Sebastian of DNALinux for working to get this forum setup and participating under the username sbassi. The LQ DNALinux forum will become the official forum for DNALinux. You can view the announcement here http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=215530 or visit http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...php?forumid=53 to go right to the DNALinux forum.
Work has begun on a LinuxQuestions.org book. If you are interested in giving feedback on what you think should be in the book, you should visit http://lists.linuxquestions.org/mail...o/lq-book-list and join the mailing list. http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=210824 also has some more details.
I am happy to report that the LinuxWorld Expo was a success. We once again got to meet many LQ members and the feedback we got was tremendous. Thanks to everyone who was able to attend. Hopefully we'll see you in Boston in February. I've posted a couple pictures of the LQ LWE booth to: http://jeremy.linuxquestions.org/blo.../8/120591.html
