command not found. no such file or directory


Hi all,

Currently, I am using Centos 7 minimal in VMware workstation. In Centos 7, I am trying to install Aanval for using Snort IDS. I tried to insert the command # curl -s http://some.url/install.sh

After I hit enter, this message came out:

/dev/fd/63: line 124: wget : command not found
/dev/fd/63: line 126: wget : command not found
/dev/fd/63: line 127: wget : command not found
/dev/fd/63: line 128: wget : command not found
/dev/fd/63: line 129: wget : command not found
/dev/fd/63: line 130: wget : command not found
/dev/fd/63: line 131: wget : command not found
/dev/fd/63: line 132: wget : command not found
/dev/fd/63: line 136: /usr/local/osp/provision.sh: no such file or directory

What is the problem? Please help me

probably you need to install wget first

The problem is that you are trying to run a random, unauthenticated script off a random unauthenticated, unencrypted site off the net. That's a very sure way to eventually turn control of your machine over to malfeasants. Please, at least download the script in question and audit it line by line before running it. Or, far, far better, please stick to the official package repositories and the official package manager.
