I will be 59 this year so creeping up again. but people active on the forums or team members don't accurately reflect the average age of our users. Unsure what would maybe the average age of the ppl on FB that have liked our page. But again that is not really an indication they have installed and use Bodhi. Oh well doesn't matter, lol.
it is not old for me as much as this crippling disease that has gotten so much worse over 30 years and chronic pain for 30 years too. minimal sleep and just have no time for any kind of nonsense any more i am sorry to say.
for what it is worth...
and yes - bodhi has and is the best distro i have ever used in gnu/linux. that is no BS!
In the UK (where I live) the Jolly Roger was the flag on pirates' ships. I'm not actually a software pirate, but that's the implication!
Regards, Roger
I am in Messenger touch with Jeff. He is safe and sound but not very Bodhi active some months. I can see him playing some card games in competitions and of course devoting his time to family and job. His Bodhi job shrunk to making ISOs for every next BL release.
This way I would like to do a little research. We lost a lot with old forum and I think we left just 2 mohicans with Robert as team members. I can remember, there was also SEF a bodhibuilder guy and some more guys. Does somebody know something about him or other guys?
Maintaining any distro with two guys is a real pain. Unfortunately our to-do list is increasing (look to the forecast module and GTK themes for example)
PS: Oh I forgot. Tristam should be active for Bodhi server maintaining.
PS2: I was in touch with Oblio. He was a wiki guy. I lost contact to him
Some of us are still out there... I am usually on the slackware forum... I see the subscription service for Bodhi stopped. Sad. I like supporting those distros that I like and Bodhi is definitely a worthy distro...
... and since everyone is disclosing age ... 62 here
Distribution: bodhi linux, slackware, red hat, AIX, Solaris

42 going on 43. So I'm young here as well. It's good to be around all this aged wisdom though. As they say you are the company you keep. And I also think it's good to not be the smartest person in the room, so I am well within that boundary.
