i tried it but the downside is that it only deals with 200 characters max so larger files/bits of info are clipped off after 200 characters. so does not work for my needs. thanks.

I don't know what you are facing to, but I have no issues with copied text limit under parcellite. Just copied 300 lines from wikipedia and it copied and pasted correctly.

sorry very long day on the farm in preferences there is a 200charcater limit. maybe i should not have messed with that. will try again later and not tweak thepreferences.

early and brain still foggy; however, it appears to work and the default settings are the same as yesterday... maybe this will help. for this to work it has to be showing on the shelf/bar correct? i prefer not to have it there but if it has then it has to be. thanks stefan!!!

i installed it on another computer and it seems like the default preferences was 50 characters - whatever that means. So i reset the first laptop to 50. seems to work OK so far - will check it out when i work later on the laptop. Thanks again.

addendum ; i noticed that it has to be activated at each startup so people know.

i added this to startup apps so i did not have to load every time i startup r reboot. i did not mind it but my wife hated such things. figured I'd add to this thread.
