Guest Additions

ON my machines I see Additions in the tray, and it never opens anything or responds directly to user actions. It was my assumption that this was intended. The Machine menu allows you to modify mouse integration, and there are other settings you can change on-the-fly, but I was not aware the clipboard integration was one of them. That is under the settings SYSTEM/Advanced.

My hope is that someone can answer the clipboard portion of your question. I believe that the behavior of the Guest Additions icon is normal.
