[Solved]4M Linux 34 Transmission Web Interface

HI all, New User of 4M linux from Thailand

I try the setup Web-Interface on Transmission client , however after I enter http://127.0.0.1:9091 , seem like the module of web-interface is not installed in 4M Linux .

May I know how I can install transmission web-interface in 4M Linux 34 ??

Looking forward to you reply , thank you !!

Hi,

You are asking about a new feature. I just do not have enough time during working days. You must wait till Sunday. I will post my answer here.

Transmission user here.

AFAIR you either need to either copy /usr/share/transmission/web to ~/.config/transmission-daemon/web or set the environment variable
Code:
TRANSMISSION_WEB_HOME="/usr/share/transmission/web"
Also see
Code:
man transmission-daemon
and https://github.com/transmission/tran...guration-Files

Hi,

1. Download and install a new package:
Code:
wget dl.4mlinux.com/addon_tw.tar.xz
zk.sh addon_tw.tar.xz
2. Reboot.
3. Go to Menu>Miniserver>MiscTools>GUI>Trans.Web
4. Let us know if it works.

Sir ZK ,

the addon installed successfully, but it is not functional as expect. the Web GUI can be opened following you instruction, but the open icon can't be used to input .torrent file.

Then I try to open the desktop client to test download, the web GUI and desktop client status is not sync, please refter the attachments. Thank you

That is because you use NetSurf. Replace it with one of more feature-reach web browsers (e.g. Firefox).

I do not use transmission web interface so I am unable to verify if something is missing or not. Please notice that there are some extra icons (including "Edit Preferences") in the left-bottom corner of the page.

transmission-gtk/-qt and transmission-cli are separate programs. They do not sync.
