How can I transmit image in NS2? Is video transmission similar to image transmission?

Hello,

I need to transmit image in NS-2, google search results only giving me multimedia transmission links which are mostly video transmission methods (MPEG) not image type.

Please let me know if video transmission is same as image transmission?
I'm guessing that video is transmitted frame by frame, each frame can be considered as an image. Is that correct?
I have come across Evalvid tool, is that the correct tool for my requirement.

If anybody has any idea about this please let me know.

If you talk about real-time video transmission, it transmite frame by frame. In general, the image is file transmission and there is different format.

Ok, looks like NS-2.27 is the stable version to run video related stuff..
I will try on that.
