Mozilla seems to work okay with Chrome's flash player

I'm not really a fan of flash, but since I'm trying to switch from Chrome to Iceweasel, which seems to be less sluggish in my machine, and I don't like the idea of using a plugin from the late 90s when I have to, I decided to try the wrap-around trick/plugin I've found. It seems to be working normally, as fas as I can tell.

Fixing the annoying firefox' associations issue once and for all

Probably affects all gecko-derived browsers, like iceape, kazehakase, epiphany, namoroka, whatever. May be exclusively a KDE-derived problem though, I don't know.

Sometimes, for some reason, the system decides that you probably want to open downloaded PDFs, from iceweasel's/firefox' downloads window, with krita or gimp, programs that won't open PDFs at all. It's really confusing because you even have a correct, pdf-reader application set as default in other parts of the system (file...

This post like all of my posts are several years out of date.
Use the Tor Browser, or a VPN preferably a paid one.
You can also use a browser like Librewolf that is a bit more hardened than Firefox or Chrome.

If you are really worried about privacy there are a few things you can do including:
Use the Adblock Plus extension for Firefox and use the
Easy Privacy list as well as the Antisocial list.
This list blocks the ever increasing social networking content...
