zenwalk 4.0 and firefox always running [resolved]

i have installed zenwalk 4.0 ,
firefox always seems to be running even after reboot.

as soon as i boot in and try to start fire fox i get (firefox is already running but is not responding)

so if any one can solve this for me i would be gratefull
