Ever since installing suse 9.3 I've used the german update mirror for SuSE.
Last time I booted into KDE, the little suse watcher in the tray informed me that new security updates are available.
So I entered my root password, went to update through the german source, and watched as it just sat there at the 'retrieving update list' at 0%. This happened several times and ended up aborting each time.
Anyway, so the last time I tried to update through YOU, the german source was completely gone from yast. Huh? Suddenly, all that were available were the USA sources, one of which was the university of Utah. So I closed out yast and YOU, and opened my yast control panel and clicked on the online update button to see if it was in that list.
For some reason, the german mirror was completely removed from the list of mirrors without my knowledge.
mee too, you may go to http://linux.softpedia.com/ to download, it is fast, i am from malaysia, it gives me 300kB/s in my office PC.
One thing i observed is , initially there was DVD ISO for suse 10.0, but after that it was no longer there, i guessed probably the DVD ISO has defects and removed.
