Suse 9.3 Pro gcc install problem

To start off with, I was under the impression that gcc came with the suse pro install...but obviously not in my case...

So a program asked me for gcc so I went and found the rpm..tried to install it..but was told i need glibc-dlevel, so i got that and was told I needed glibc this time. Lol, so I got that and this time was told I needed glibc_post_upgrade...which I couldn't find a rpm for =(

Any suggestions on how to get gcc?

Thanks a lot

Please:
1. Try installing from YaST2, Install/Remove Software
(don't deal with RPMs directly: at least not in this case)
2. Install from your original CD/DVD (if possible)
3. In YasT2, do a "Search" for "gcc"
Make sure all of the following have a "check" (install) or "update":
- cpp
- gcc
- gcc-c++
- libgcc
(whatever other options you want)
4. Click "accept", and let YaST2 do its thing.

If this does *not* work, please:
5. Cut-and-paste the exact YaST2 error message.

Thanx in advance .. PSM
