I'm pretty new here.
I installed SuSe 10.0 couple of days ago and I've just finished updated to KDE 3.5.2.
After that I noticed that I dont have "Save Password" checkbox when I open YaST.
Does anyone knows how to restore it as it was in KDE 3.4 ?
You could create a shell script to do the command that contains your password. Just make sure you make the file +x only, not +r or +w by anyone except root.

i think there were many outcries that this was not a secure feature, coz once you log in as root, and you leave your terminal unattended, anyone can practically come and destroy your system), until next logoff. So i think this was removed in KDE3.5
As crazibri said, you can make a shell sccirpt for this, but I'm also a newbie :ee:
Will try to write one, though i have no idea how to...
