Realtek ALC 665 Sound -- 10.3 / 11.0 64 bit --anybody got it to work

Hi guys

Anybody got the above (built in ) sound card to work with SUSE 10.3 or 11.0 - both 64 bit version.

Yast picks up Intel HD sound as the sound card.

Compile etc works fine as does alsa config - reports sound card working OK etc.
BUT NO SOUND.

The mixer is shown on KDE / GNOME and I can adjust the settings --but NO SOUND.

DVD / TV Apps also give no sound.

The driver from the realtek site compiles etc OK but I still can't get it to work.

cheers

-K

Hi there
I loaded the new LiveCD 64 bit version and re-installed.
Sound now working perfectly -- make sure you enable the right master volume --it's more complicated than 10.3. TV card also working without having to disable XGL.

cheers
