Network card detected but not working

I just downloaded Suse 10.0 x64 for my desktop, and I'm not able to access the internet. My network adapter shows up during installation, but I can't connect to anything. I have Suse on one hard drive, and XP Pro on the other. Are there any logs or anything I can paste here to help find out what's wrong? I was going to install the nvidia network adapter driver from the Nvidia website, it said it installed successfully, but it still doesn't work. The motherboard I'm using is the Biostar 6100-M7 and I'm using the built in network adapter. I've been using Linux for a few months now, my laptop worked great under suse x86 so I never had to troubleshoot any hardware, so go slow, I'm a linux newb. Thanks !!!

Jesse

I tried that, but no difference. Any other suggestions? This really sucks being confined to windows after using linux for those few months on my lappy, lappy is just so weak compared to my desktop. Surely SOMEONE must have an answer?

Holy frickin garbage, I got it to work!!!

I just had to set my default gateway ip to my router address. What luck...now to deal with my graphics driver.
