Solution 3: break samba-ad-dc-4.17.3+git.290.00f806b25c9-150500.1.20.x86_64 by ignoring some of its dependencies
Choose from above solutions by number or skip, retry or cancel [1/2/3/s/r/c/d/?] (c):
Zypper patch often won't resolve when zypper up will, unless you wait long enough to try again. My 15.5's zypper doesn't find samba-ad-dc either.

still can't solve it.
I'm not aware I've installed anything samba related. I've run Leap after few months of inactivity so it may be the reason samba-ad-dc was not removed by some upgrade in the past.

Samba is for networking with Windows. Do you have Windows on any LAN you routinely use? If not, you can remove all of samba* that isn't required by other installed software. I have only samba-client-libs installed on 15.5 on my LAN server, which nobody's Windows has any need to access.
