Intel-537ep modem driver for SUSE Pro 9.3

Hi, all

I just installed SUSE Pro 9.3. It work very well and I like it.
But I can't make the Intel-537ep modem work.

The installation recognized an "Intel modem", but it didn't work.
So I tried downloading and installing the "intel-537ep-2.60.80.0-suse91-up.tgz" and "intel-537ep-2.60.80.1.tgz" drivers from Intel site. I followed the instruction for installation.
The compilation ('make 537')of the first one printed several errors.
The compilation of the second driver was OK, I think, but the installation ('make install')print an error, so it don't work.

Please, could sombody tell me how can I make it work?
(I'm new in SUSE, so details will be appreciate.)

Thank you in advance.
