I add a new hard disk to the SUSE 10.1 system,but how to


Hi friends:
I add a new SATA hard disk to the SUSE 10.1 system,but how to format it. which command should i use to fomat it.

You'll want to partition it first with fdisk (or perhaps cfdisk if SUSE comes with it) and then you use mkfs to make the filesystem(s). Read the man pages for more info.
