Question how to switch form bash to another shell

okay i was doing a little java and kept having a little weird error. just in case im wrong here is the error i got wen i tried to run a formerly operational program on mandrake(yes i switch distros in the middle of an assignment but i just couldnt hold out i really wanted to switch and yes i do like suse better now).

Code:
Warning: Cannot convert string "-b&h-lucida-medium-r-normal-sans-*-140-*-*-p-*-iso8859-1" to type FontStruct
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException

        at PetRecoverySystemGui.<init>(PetRecoverySystemGui.java:17)
        at PetRecoverySystem.main(PetRecoverySystem.java:209)
now after some online research i found that this i caused by x not having the proper font but when i switched all my fonts to monspace i had the same error. then i read online that this may be caused by an error in bash so now i want to use a different shell. drakeconfig had a menu to do this but i havnt been able to find one in yast. if there is a graphic solution to the problem that would be great but im willing to settle for terminal one.

Try using Google...got it on the first hit for "changing shells"

mingdao@james:~$ chsh
Password:
Changing the login shell for mingdao
Enter the new value, or press return for the default
Login Shell [/bin/bash]:
