How do I change my Email pgrm to Thunderbird instead of Evol.?

Tried the above but it still comes up with the Evolution setup wizard whenever I click on a mailto: link or try send a link via the File menu.

I have clicked Use a different email client and have entered there:

/usr/bin/thunderbird

I used locate to find where the executable is located.

This is using SUSE 10 btw.

Perhaps your using Firefox, I am. When I click a "mailto:" I get nothing. Although I use Thunderbird, my main email is gmail so I hadn't been that serious about it. I've been right clicking and copying the email address which I then paste in gmail. I took a look at firefox "about:config" and filtered for "mail". There are a few parameters with true false values but its unclear what they really do.
