the installation dvd cannot not boot a slack partition

Hello everyone. I need to recover the lilo that is installed on mbr. for that , I'm trying to boot by using the slackware installation DVD and the command "huge.s root = / dev / sdc1 rdinit = ro" because the partition where is the lilo to be recovered is on the partition / dev / sdc1 .
however, the installation dvd contains an iso image related to kernel 4.4.10 and the slackware installed on the mentioned partition runs kernel 4.4.13. So, although I manage to boot, when I get to the command prompt the kernel that seems to have been loaded is 4.4.10 and not 4.4.13. as a result a lot of errors prevent me from using the command line. thank you so much.

both are 64 current with the difference that the version installed on /dev/sdc1 has already been upgraded which explains the kernel difference tks for your reply

I use the Slack live dvd and when I got the command prompt:
#mkdir /mnt/root
#mount -t ext4 /dev/sdb1 /mnt/root
#mount -t proc none /mnt/root/proc
#mount -o bind /dev /mnt/root/dev
#chroot /mnt/root /bin/bash
#lilo -v
#exit
#reboot

/dev/sdb1 - the partition in which is lilo.conf
ext4 - the type of the file system

solved. tks
