Angry After upgrading all, Slackware 15.0 boot failed.

There are two disks:
Code:
/dev/sda:
 /dev/sda1 /efi ;vfat
 /dev/sda2 /boot ;ext4
 /dev/sda3 / ;ext4
and after upgrading,
Code:
slackpkg upgrade-all
boot failed:
Code:
No kernel modules found for Linux 5.15.117.
mount: mounting /dev/sda3 on /mnt failed: No such file or directory.
....
so i mounted the installer iso and as usual i could boot the installed system with kernel image in iso, but the bootloader grub2 instead of lilo, so i tried the following code in grub for boot manully:
Code:
set root=(hd0,gpt3)
insmod linux
linux (hd0,gpt2)/vmlinuz-huge-5.15.117 root=/dev/sda3 ro vga=normal
initrd (hd0,gpt2)/initrd.gz
boot
but boot failed still with the same error.
Any helps?

I chroot into the root partition and remake the initrd.gz:
Code:
mkinitrd -c -k 5.15.117 -m ext4 -f ext4 -r /dev/sda3 -w 10
but the error stays.
It seems that initrd could not find the right disk for root partition mounting...

SOLVED:
After using slackware's /usr/share/mkinitrd/mkinitrd_generator.sh, the initrd works.
It seems add some extra modules into initrd.
