18sep14 image raspberry fail to read mmcblk0

I am trying to install using the 18sep14 image.
But when i try do create disk, the installer does not see the /dev/mmcblk0, even if there is no other disks on the rpi. Can someone may reproduce this to confirm if i am not doing something wrong or is something else?
