zram cannot allocate memory

I tried zram with the following command, but failed
Code:
# zramctl -f -s 1G
zramctl: /dev/zram0: failed to set disksize (1073741824 bytes): Cannot allocate memory
The zram module has been loaded
Code:
# lsmod|grep -i zram
zram 28672 0
/proc/meminfo :
Code:
# cat /proc/meminfo

You need to make the swap device using mkswap then enable it with swapon.

This command will tell you if a swap device in zram is active:
Code:
lsblk -lno name,mountpoint|grep ^zram|grep SWAP
