wine in slackware 9.1


hello

i have install wine and configure it by winesetuptk

slackware tgz format

but when i want to start my windows apps like winrar

then it shows

my graphics card is nvidia and my gmplayer works only if i set the xv X11/Xv
so

how to set this to wine config

Frist uninstall all the crap and compile wine yourself, you don't need winesetupTK just edit wines config, its the same thing... only more options to play with.

2) I s your nVidia driver installed? not the one that came with free86 or X.org I mean the driver nVidia provides?

Are you running Free86 or X.org?
Compile Wine and if that error happends again try looking at WineHQ for a possible fix.. maybe WinRAR needs some native dll's. I don't Wine for WinRAR so i wouldn't know.

it works i have used older version of wine by compiling

then it works then i haven;t select any driver

the problem is i could not set up the soud net and other devices in wine config manually

i will try....by compiling later

the problem to select driver
