i would like to install wine on Slackware 9 but i can only find packages for i686 at winehq.com . are they no packages for i386 machines? i really need this because i'm trying to run a windows application in it. thanks in advance.
If you compile from the source it will walk you through most of the major setup issues.. very helpfull if you never used wine before. Just use the automated install script.
you can get the latest version from official wine page and from linuxpackages.net,this package didn't work in my machine,I compiled from the source and size is abou 600MB and takes huge time.don't you think it is strange?
