Where is libgd installed? [/usr/lib]

I am trying to install GD.pm on my new redhat 9 machine.

Where is libgd installed? [/usr/lib]

where is that? I am trying to find the package on slackware.com

Does libgd not come with slackware?

Solution 1: try /usr/local/lib instead.

Solution 2: libgd may installed somewhere else on Slackware. Try apropos, whereis, etc... to find where it is.

Solution 3: it is possible that libgd is not installed by default on Slackware 9.0. Try looking at the "extra" CD.

Solution 4: libgd is not anywhere... download it from its home site, compile and install. That is usually not a lot of work on Slackware.

Sorry I can't be more specific, but I am not in front of my Slack machine right now...
