where is LD_LIBRARY_PATH

Guys...can some one tell me where is LD_LIBRARY_PATH is, because i'm trying to install Mesa-5.0.2 and it told me to change my LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable which i don't know where it is.

And i have trouble on installing Tuxracer 0.61 when i use the ./configure command it gives me error message "glGetProcAddressARB...." or something like that and it says that i am using older verion of "glx.h" but i'm using the Mesa-5.0.2 and tuxracer only need the Mesa 3.2 version.

Could someone please tell me what's wrong??? Please

Thanx b4

append this line to yer ~/.bashrc

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/src/Mesa-5.0.2/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH

Then do
# source .bashrc
b4 u do ./configure ..

After that u may comment that line out if it doesn't cause any runtine error ..
