Question Wacom DTU-1031X - Display Tablet works as a tablet but not also as a screen

Hello, I am having issues regarding a Wacom DTU-1031X which is a display tablet. It works just fine as a tablet but the screen doesn't. It uses USB 2.0 to drive both the video and pen data.
I've tried to use the udl driver but without any success, has anyone managed to make this tablet work?

Currently I am using Slackware64-15.0 with the longterm kernel 6.1.61 compiled from source and I am using X11 as the display protocol.

EDIT: I've probed the hardware and the device that gives me problems is Magic Control Technology Corp. Trigger II External Graphics (0711:520f) which doesn't seem to be supported as far as I know.

Before USB-C and its display port mode, there was USB-A Tthat didn't support video output natively.
Some vendors create a "standard" (emphasis on the quotes) called DisplayLink that some devices use, and your seems to be one of these.
You need a proprietary driver that you can download here https://www.synaptics.com/products/d...hics/downloads (ubuntu only)
A slackbuild repackaging the binary driver is available here: https://slackbuilds.org/repository/1...m/displaylink/

I had an old Dell docking stating that used that standard. After experimenting for a few hours i got it working, but it worked so bad i just trashed it.
I wish you better luck

I did try the displaylink driver but sadly it doesn't work. I think that this device doesn't even support the displaylink technology to begin with.
