VirtualBox 3.2.0 and Slackware64 13.1

I've had some trouble before in getting Slackware to run under VBox 3.2.0 ( eg. slack64-13.0 seems to only run when video mode is 1024*768*32k - haven't tested VGA though ). With Slack64-13.1 I get nothing at all even in vga mode. After the "BIOS Data Check Successful", the video mode changes to whatever was selected and the screen just goes black.

Any ideas?

Is the VBox running under 13.1 as well ? I only ask because I've just managed to finally get my copy of 13.1 to complete downloading and want to try under VBox too?

BTW - I also live in Cape Town - we must look each other up sometime :-)

Hi Mark, yeah a get together is well in order. I'm running both VBox 3.1.x and 3.2 on top of Slack64 -current ( now 13.1 ) without issues except the one mentioned above. Bit on the odd side - let me know how you get on. Have left you a private message.

Ok I've redone an install choosing vga mode this time and it's ( slack64-13.1 ) booted fine. Strange how if I edit an existing non-working setup, change to vga and reinstall lilo, it does not work.
