tutorial custom package making?

Hello, I couldn't find anything of use on the internet about making custom packages for use in Slackware, but I'd like to create a couple packages myself so I can easily update the package when a new version comes out, primarily 'gtkpod'. If anyone could provide a good link or book I should get to help me do this, I'd be very happy! thx.

Have a look at http://www.linuxpackages.net/, in the "Information" box at the top left of the screen.

You might also want to have a look at http://www.homepages.lu/pu/pkgcheck.html to check your newly created packages.
