Trouble connecting to WPA2 Enterprise with PEAP in Slackware 14.2

Hi All,
I finally installed Slackware 14.2 and am loving it so far. The only issue I am encountering is connecting to WP2 Enterprise Wifi using PEAP. I keep getting a pop up to enter my password. Couldn't get through it. Appreciate help.
Regards,
Hafoka.

I had good results using wicd + 'wicd-gtk --tray' (instead of NetworkManager and nm-applet) when connecting to a similar network at my university.
