slackware64-live-current.iso of 20220622 , Run Level 1 , RootLogin incorrect

Downloaded and did iso2usb on it & then editted option at the boot to select run level 1 .

After booting is succesful , ...

I stand corrected , there are issued from the init: ...

Code:
INIT: version 3.04 booting
/bin/bash: error while loading shared libraries: libtinfo.so.6: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory
INIT: Entering runlevel: 1
/bin/bash: error while loading shared libraries: libtinfo.so.6: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory
The above is the same for using runlevel 3 .

Which gives me ...

Code:
darkstar login: root

Login incorrect
Code:
darkstar login: live

Login incorrect
What the heck am I doing wrong here ?

also as a further difficulty
Crtl-Alt-Del , screen issues ...

Code:
shutdown: /dev/initctl: no such file or directory
init: /dev/initctl: no such file or directory

As a further complication , Just selecting

"Start SLACKWARE Live"
At the finish is entring runlevel 3 .

When trying to enter 4 most of the overlays are erroring .
I'll try downloading the new live.iso

Just to see if that makes a difference .

Now to wait another 8 hours to get that down loaded .

That finished now the md5sum's don't match , Very poor connectivity atm .

Fyi , It had to have been an bad download .
As I was able to get (After many stupid self inflicted attempts) ...

slackware64-live-current.iso

This time I verified the md5sum was the same rather than just trusting .

And I happily using Live at single user ...

Agn , Sorry for the noise .
