My idea is that it should be easy to install.

First install Qt 5, then compile the source code for svtplay-dl and streamCapture2 through slackbuildscript would be the right way? And maybe update ffmpeg? Use shared libraries, which is what should be done if you want to strictly follow the ideas behind Slackware (and Linux) It would definitely work. But it may not suit all users.

Before Qt5, I did programs in the "right" way, with slackbuild script ...
Maybe you could provide something like Eric (Alien Bob) does for his packages. He provides the source so people can compile it themselves as well as the packages that were compiled using his SlackBuild. Many of his SlackBuilds, most notably vlc, will compile the dependencies statically as well, so you'd be more than able to do that for yours.

It might appease both sets of users... the ones who like the source and building it themselves and the ones who would like the simplicity of installing a pre-built package.

No matter what you decide, it is ultimately your decision. If you don't want to take the extra effort to do all this, that is certainly your choice

Using a bundle with statically linked library certainly comes handy and I am grateful for Eric's vlc bundle.

However, be aware that if you care about security for your users this can result on more work for the package's provider, who will have to provide a new version every time an included lib has to be changed to fix a security hole that has been uncovered.

Everything is available

Thank you for all the views! It's educational.
Everything is available
All source code is available at http://ceicer.org/streamcapture2/index_eng.php
All files I use to build packages for Slackware and for Windows are available at github.
https://github.com/posktomten/streamcapture2
It is free for anyone to use. (And maybe improve, if you want.)
Thank you very much, Ingemar Ceicer

I might test this, it's been a while since i DL from svtplay and i used to do it manually.
I think i might try to dl "The Putin Interviews" with Swedish subtitles.

To please everyone you should include a SlackBuild that builds a static package, it will also make it easier for you to build it if you ever update the source.
We are all a bit paranoid and like to build things from source our self.
When you work with IT paranoia is a good thing unless it goes totally out of hand.
