These are correct sha512sums right, can someone double check? Maybe I've missed it, but I don't think they are posted anywhere, just want to check backup consistency.
Thanks marav, apparently it's the same iso image so I won't have to download it again.
Normally I'd work on a copy and would not touch it after initial download, but I had to move it to another drive.
Where can I get the live torrent? A 3.7gb file is too big for a direct download with my connection and I can't seem to find a torrent, either on Linux Tracker or on http://www.slackware.com/torrents/

I don't think there are any torrents for -current or the Live editions. The files change too frequently and it would be hard to get people to download and seed every single new version.
Another option would be to use Eric's mirror-slackware-live.sh script to download all the packages, build an ISO, and then use liveslak.sh to build the Slackware Live ISO. Other than the large initial download (which supports error checking), this will make subsequent updates simpler and faster rather than redownloading an entire ISO.

Direct download, or downloading using a torrent client, will eventually transfer the full amount of bytes. I assume your data plan is not an issue and 3.7 gb will not cost you. If it is the stability of your connection or the limited bandwidth which causes your large filetransfers to fail/abort then usage of "rsync --partial" may help. See https://superuser.com/questions/3028.../302843#302843 for a simple script which will keep looping until the large file has been downloaded in full.
The site has rsync access: rsync://download.liveslak.org/mirrors/slackware/slackware-live/slackware64-current-live/
