Hey folks, I think it's time for Slackware 13.37 (hopefully this helps
make up for our lack of code names) release candidate 1!
After a lot of testing and consideration, we've decided to go with the
recently released 2.6.37.3 Linux kernel which seems to work best for X,
contains support for Speakup, and looks like a better kernel branch to
be using as we move forward.
Please test so we can have a stable release soon. :-)

Plus we are at 'rc3'

1337 - sounds like such a perfect Slackware release, so I disassembled my desktop pc, cleaned all the dust from it, changed wires, thermal paste. Then carefully assembled, moved important data somewhere safe, formatted windows 7 and now it is clean, ready for such important Slackware release. All that is left is wait

Looking forward to the release party! But I suspect that kernel 2.6.38.1 and xfce 4.8 will keep me running with -current when it restarts.

Such as 'killing' a Cuban tobacco pipe, every night?

Do not overdo it! After the second dose, you become high!

"Hello, Pet Police!.. How may we help you?"

"Yes, Hello officer, I have to report a Martyred Moggy!"

"Ermm... Is that an Ubuntu release?"

Does holding tea ceremonies every evening count?

P.S.
Out of curiosity, who or what is Bob?
