Slack 11.0 -- Logitech MX Revolution problem

I just installed Slackware 11.0. Everything is working except my Logitech MX Revolution mouse under xorg. Moving the mouse left and right moves the pointer up and down -- and moving the mouse up and down also moves the pointer up and down, but very very very slowly. I've tried IMPS/2, Logitech, ExplorerPS/2 and msc for protocol...all the same result.

Anyone know how to setup this mouse under Slack 11.0/xorg?

Try ExplorerPS/2, it works fine for my USB MX510. Here's my mouse config in xorg.conf:

Identifier "Mouse1"
Driver "mouse"
Option "Protocol" "ExplorerPS/2"
Option "Device" "/dev/mouse"
Option "Buttons" "7"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
Option "Resolution" "400"
