Open a term, and type rsync -help|less

I think you should have a 'man rsync' as well.

And to directly answer your question, you have it.

If not, use pkgtool to install it, it's on your CD

Wow! Well the problem is that I can't find it. Maybe someone knows the exact name of the package I need to load 'cause it's quite hard to find the right package.

http://rsync.samba.org/ <--- Homepage
ftp://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackwar...e/n1/rsync.tgz <--- The file from Slackware itself

Which also shows that it will be in your networking section if you don't wanna d/l it. n1 would be the directory to look for.

Cool

Listen, I have a question. The autopkg tool should get the new list of packages, right? But I checked and when it retrieved the list I saw that I had all the newest packages. So is there a way to configure it to just retrieve the packages that are newer than the already installed and only those packages that ARE installed. (I didn't install GNOME but it retrieved all then packages that are someway associated to it) Thanks in advance!

Hmm, good question(s). I don't do much upgrading that way. I will usually pick and choose, and do it the long and hard way, so I really can't answer that very well.

With any luck a good slacker will come and answer this question with ease.

And glad I could help

Hmmm, thanks anyway! It's a really good tool, if only it could do the above mentioned operations. Thanks!
