Hmm I don't know what happened earlier. I reinstalled rxvt 2.7.10-5 from a mirror and it seems to launch fine now.

rxvt-unicode does, maybe mats_b_tegner has that and needs to recompile it? Almost every time perl is updated in current I forget to rebuild urxvt until it stops working.
Yes, I do have rxvt-unicode installed as well. I support replacing rxvt with rxvt-unicode.

rxvt-unicode kerns its fonts wrong.

I like Alacritty (currently using on my desktop), Simple Terminal (currently using in my VM), Terminator 1.91, or Termite.

Kitty (which is by the Calibre guy and which is meant to be used without tmux) is worth checking out if you don't use tmux or screen.

ziptool doesn't build on ARM, and I can't imagine any modern ARM machines with a parallel port or SCSI2 connectors and someone with such an ancient piece of hardware all in one place; so I never fixed it. As such it's simply absent from the package util-linux ;-)
Having a couple of extra K in a binary file and a text file isn't really worth breaking in to a separate package IMO.

ziptool in ARM is in the package libzip.

I like that rxvt-unicode has been added . Perhaps add to /etc/inputrc in the etc-15.0 package
Code:
# for urxvt
"\e[7~": beginning-of-line
"\e[8~": end-of-line
to activate the urxvt key-bindings for the Home and End keys for all users.

That's a different tool for different purposes. In util-linux, 'ziptool' is installed as 'jaztool' to avoid that naming conflict.
As it happens, ziptool now builds so it'll be included in util-linux for ARM.

Also just add Russian to scim.desktop would not be not enough, moreover there is no need of SCIM to type text in Russian. Anyway all users of it know what SCIM is, so having a translated name in the menu is not really necessary in my opinion.

Character cell width does seem to be just under 1/10th wider in urxvt compared to xterm with the same xft rendered font. It doesn't happen when you use a bitmap font like terminus however.
