Hi there!
Yesterday I asked a questionon how to recompile a kernel. Thanks to MasterC and Sfin everything went fine and I booted the kernel. But a problem occured. Before I recompiled the kernel the resolution in the console was 1024x768x32k but when I booted the new kernel it switched to 640x480x256k. Maybe someone can tell me what should I do to restore the old resolution. Thanks!
And read a bit, but I think if you enabled Frame-buffer support, you can select it with a line in lilo.conf: "vga=ask" or actually designate the size you want. Your card must be supported (I think I remember you have Radeon, and I think that is supported, but not entirely sure).
