problem with Aironet driver

Hello!
I've got an Aironet driver for 4500 and 4800 series cards. When I compile it, works without problem...when I remove modules with rmmod or modprobe -r my kernel (2.4.28) says ok I remove them, but if I have to reinsert them my pc doesn't work, it hangs up: why? Does anyone have this problem? Please answer me, because if I want to reinsert them I have to reboot!!
